How Pangasinan relates to me

My mother's hometown is Pangasinan. She was born in San Nicolas, Pangasinan and grew up there til she turns 11 years old, and then moved out and transfer to manila. Since then, we just visit Pangasinan whenever there's a family occasion or a huge family gathering. We rarely visit the place, but even though we only visit pangasinan for at least once every 2 years, still Pangasinan has a place in my hear because whenever we visit the place, we get a chance to bond with the whole family.

As a matter of fact, last election 2008, my grandfather run for mayor in our home town in San Nicolas but wasn't able to win the position. This only proves that even we don't visit the place regularly, the place is attached to us. And we, our family is willing to help the people of San Nicolas Pangasinan in any way we can.

Even if i'm not really born in Pangasinan, i will still be related to this place by heart and by blood.
